VIVIENNE CUNNINGHAM |
Vivienne trained at the Guildhall School of Music and
Drama and has taught speech and drama, public speaking and performance
techniques to all ages both privately and in educational establishments. She is also a director and specialist in
mime and dance drama. Vivienne is Head of Drama at Thorpe Hall School where
the drama department has established a strong reputation having won numerous
awards nationally and staged ambitious and successful productions in the
School’s two hundred seat theatre. Vivienne’s passion is to write plays and
poetry and then to watch them come alive on stage. Her other interests are
reading, walking and, of course, theatre visits. She has recently started
drum lessons and this has proved to be somewhat of a surprise to her family!
Vivienne was an examiner for the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and she
has always enjoyed adjudicating and watching students share their work and
experience the joy of performance. |

NORMA REDFEARN |
Norma Redfearn
trained at the Northern College of Speech and Drama and researched at Leicester
University. She began her acting career in Rep', and then performed in
professional tours all over the UK., As an examiner for Trinity College
London she has examined students, lectured and performed on every continent,
as well as setting and marking written examinations, and she was awarded the
Chairman’s Award for services to Trinity. Norma now examines
extensively for LAMDA and has most recently visited Kenya, Tanzania and
Uganda. She has made a major contribution to a recently published book
on Public Speaking for Lamda and she regularly adjudicates Public Speaking at
the National 'Youth Speaks' Competitions in the UK. Teaching is a
constant joy to her and many of her students are pursuing professional
acting careers in Theatre and television and there are many others who
are qualified Drama Teachers. Her greatest joy however, is equipping
students with life skills, and the ability to take there place in society
confidently. She is proud to be an adjudicating member of the British and International
Federation of Festivals and she believes the Festival movement is a wonderful
tool to help the confidence and development of all who enter and she
looks forward to sharing once again with the students of Beckenham in this
celebration of their achievement. |
